As others have stated, this is a fine little machine with some very large drawbacks:
- cannot turn off camera or microphone
- cannot opt out of data collection, even on guest account
- food portions are too small, ergo this machine fails at its one main function

Update:
Was offered a refund after this negative review. When I attempted to accept, I was asked if the feeder still had the issues I mentioned - you know, the issues inherent to its design - and then all communication ceased, no refund. Steer clear.

Overall, I am happy with this Automatic Dry Food Feeder -- It disperses food in small increments allowing you to customize their food amount, it has worked while I've been miles away, the camera lets me know that the food did in fact come out, and the stainless steel bowl allows me to truly disinfect the it.

Everything else is made of plastic which is easy to clean but hard to truly disinfect. I cannot find where to further detach the food container base to let me clean the machine better.

If you unplug this, you will have to set up everything all over again and that can be tricky. The instructions seem detailed, but they don't seem to be accurate on setting up a wireless connection.

I'm happy to have a camera because I can see the food physically being served to my cats and also that they are eating it. If you have 2 look-alike cats, you may not be able to figure out which one is eating.

But, when it comes to wanting an automatic dry food feeder, I love being able to feed them when I'm far away. I'm glad I have this!

honestly, I love this pet feeder. It’s automatic you can schedule how often you want to feed your pet and the portion size you can wash them through the camera. You can talk to them through the camera. You can hear everything through the camera you can take pictures through the camera, so it’s basically like a security camera almost works about the same so the only issue I had was trying to connect the feeder to the app that you have to download on your phone. It takes a while. You have to be pretty close to whatever Wi-Fi source. You need a very strong connection on top of you. Need to have good service on your phone. The connection of Wi-Fi on your phone also needs to be pretty decent. Other than that. It comes with a little packet to put on the inside of it to make the food last longer to keep the food fresh and other than that I have a really been able to tell when the food is low because it will just go through the motions of trying to put food out, so I just have to check every once in a while, but it does last a pretty good bit of time depending on your proportion sizes other than that you can add a sound effect when you want to feed at a certain time like your voice chime whatever it’s pretty loud although I believe you can adjust the volume on the chime or phrase that you choose to put for the sound when you want to do a feeding also, when it drops the food that’s pretty loud as well, so it usually scares me awake in the middle of the night, but yeah it’s extremely helpful to be honest. It probably fits about 4 to 5 cups of food. Inside of it. Just depends on the size of the food also but that’s about it. By the way it’s for my cat. I use salmon open farm dry food.

It took me 4 hours to finally get the feeder to connect to my internet. Ive never had such a hard time seeing something up. I moved the feeder whet i wanted my baby to eat and it wouldn't reconnect to my internet. I dont have 4 hours to reconnect it if i move it or if the power goes out. It should be way easier to set up and use with today's technology. Besides that its good quality and has a wide range of portion sizes. The camera and speaker we're good quality and you could see if the bowl was empty or not. I was super sad its so hard to connect bc it would have been perfect for me .

This was a little tricky to set up and get connected to the internet. We are liking it though. It's not top of the line quality but it's decent enough. It gets the job done and feeds our cat on the proper schedule.
