This is a really nice artsy cat scratcher. It is large and even a large cat can climb in and roll around. The quality is top notch. I assumed the frame would be printed cardboard but it is an actual photo frame. The background painting is double sided so you can choose which one you prefer. My cats took to it immediately. I'm not sure if there are replacement scratch pads to use after this one has been torn up, but I will be looking for one this size or one I can cut to size.

So cute!! It actually has the option of the other painting on the other side, so you get a 2 for 1 deal.

It was easy enough to put together, but I do wish that the sides were metal and not cardboard, seeing as my cat may eventually scratch that cardboard on the side as well as the scratching board inside. Only time will tell.

The frame is actually pretty nice quality. It's not foam - maybe wood.

Our designated household assembler of all the things informs me that assembly “wasn’t too bad”.

The result is indisputably fantastic. It’s huge. It’s gorgeous. It’s extremely good quality.

While we are currently using it in our house, it’s quite likely that we’ll turn it over to our foster kitten operation. It would make for great photo ops for adoptable kittens.

Just one teensy little flaw. What are we gonna do when the scratcher is all used up? It’s an unusual size. Perhaps we’ll find a suitable pillow…

This is such a cool idea. I saw a reel showing this type of cat scratcher and had to find one for my feline crew! It is quite expensive, but honestly, it is pretty well made! I don’t know how complicated it will be to eventually change out the scratcher - but for now I’m just enjoying the art!
