We are having our Christmas celebration in the daytime rather than the evening and I ordered this hoping to have a pop of sparkle. Well, it is sparkling and even with the morning sun! I just hoped for a little touch of sparkle but this is giving me full on Christmas glitter. OMG... this is amazing! My kids couldn't believe it, and they have been playing with it all day! I honestly didn't think they would enjoy it so much, but they went crazy for it and ask for it all day.

I got this space projector for my son who loves astronauts and anything that has to do with stars and planets. It's a cool looking astronaut that is lightweight and portable. The light projects straight from the astronaut's helmet and we use it in the kids bedroom so that they can play under the different colored lights and pretend that they are in outer space.

There are plenty of different color light modes to try and we really like the purple galaxy color a lot. It comes with small remote and you can also set a timer on it to automatically shut off, which comes in handy especially around the kid's bedtime. The head and base are also detachable since they are held together by magnets, but you'll need to be careful especially with the head piece which is heavier and can become detached easily if tipped over. It's very easy to setup, just need to plug it in USB and it's good to go. It doesn't have an option to run on batteries only so you have to keep it plugged in, which can be a bit inconvenient at times.

I would however be cautious about how you angle the projector since it has a strong bright laser which can hurt the eyes especially for younger children. All I do is point it straight up at the ceiling (instead of on a side wall) and place the projector on the corner nightstand so that it is not easily reachable by my kids. Overall I'm very happy with this projector and would recommend it for anyone who loves space and astronauts!
